Merlin Update Merry Christmas from "Merlin" I was adopted by the Rohrbecks in August 2001 and wanted to let you know that I am very happy in my new home. My family says that I am the sweetest cat that they have ever known, so I really work on being sweet. I love to sleep on any lap or quilt, and I can really sleep sometimes. But then when it is time for my family to go to bed, I am wild and they don't seem to appreciate that too much!! What I really like to do best is torture the family dog, a sweet old Pug, and I have her under my thumb. We both love the sunny spots in the living room and I just wait until she is sleeping soundly and I pounce on her so she has to move!! She even gives up her spot on the sofa for me!! I think this has something to do with the cat that preceeded me, not sure. I had a few health problems at first (an ear infection that would not go away) but I am gaining weight and feeling very frisky these days (or so I am told).
