Silver (now Horus), a Recent adoptee from Kansas City Siamese Rescue After searching high and low (for several months) for a cat or kitten who would suit us, my husband and I were about to give up! They all seemed too high-mettled and one of them was even a bit vicious. While searching on Critter Connection one day, I came across a picture of an oriental shorthair named Silver. All of my friends instantly delcared that he was ugly, but I thought he was adorable! I knew right away that he was the cat for us. I contacted the shelter, and about a week later, we went to see him. We took him right away despite his nervous disposition because I just felt that it was right. Well, it took a few weeks for our newly named kitty, Horus, to warm up to us. But several months down the road, we are inseperable! Horus sleeps with us and curls up on our lap for hours while he just purrs and purrs. I absolutely adore him! Horus and I do just about everything together and whenever I've been gone for awhile, Horus 'complains' when I get home by leaping into my arms and refusing to get down! He is a true delight and the perfect addition to our family. Thank you for your website. We love him. The Gray Family
